You can now create a custom URL for your store. Within the contact update page, you can now customize a URL that better fits your business. The custom URL will be https://biz.cottagegood.com/?yourChoice. For example, our Demo Bakery page is https://biz.cottagegood.com/?demobakery

We have added the ability for you to set a lead time on custom orders. This new feature will help you notify your customers of you current lead time when custom orders, such as cakes, are request. Updating your lead time is located in your update payments page.

You can now manage which email address displays to your customers. Go into the update contact information page and modify the email address you want your customers to see.

The Cottage Good Android app is now available on Google Play. To download, use your Android phone, open your internet browser and go here. You can also find it in the Google Play store by searching for Cottage Good. The Android app helps manage your Cottage Good account on the go!

The ability to mark your products as low in stock or out of stock is now available in the edit item page. When updating your item to show low or out of stock, text is placed over the item's image within your catalog. Once more inventory is available, you can update the item again to remove that label.

You now have more control over what information is shown to the public. You can now hide your address and/or phone number. When hiding your address, customers will only see your city, state, and zip code. Along with this update, we have provided self service options to update your address and phone number any time you wish.

Sometimes, customers cancel orders. We have enabled the ability to mark an order as cancelled in those unfortunate events. Within the orders details, you can easily cancel an order.

You can now update the color scheme for your business. Choose one of several color schemes that best represents your business. The selected color scheme will be visible to your customers and to you when you are logged in.

When someone visits your business page directly, we now make it easier for them to get back to your page if they leave it to explore other non-business pages on the Cottage Good website. Once they access your business page, a banner is displayed at the top of their web browser providing direct access back to your business.

Your cottage business can now be found when potential customers are looking for a cottage food operation near them. Our latest feature allows those potential customers to search by zip code and find locations near them. All results list the distance from their zip code, your business name, and a link directly to your business page! We are here to help you connect to customers and be found.

You can now update your payment tags (Venmo, PayPal, etc.) without contacting us for help. You can also modify your payment policy selection and whether or not you accept checks as a form of payment.

New option added during the sign up process for payment policies. Previously, you had the choice of telling customers no prepayment was needed or full payment is required before beginning your order. The new option lets your customers know they must pay at least half before their order is started.
